I found this video online that provides an overview video on the IICL-6 guide. You will see how inspection measurements are
made and have a better understanding of the guide and standards used in inspecting cargo containers.
The IICL or Institute of International Container Lessors was formed in the early 1970s and has been setting technical standards
for the inspection and repair of lessor owned marine containers since that date. This video is highly technical but will give you a great insight into how inspection on cargo containers takes place. You will view actual inspectors at work and have a chance to witness what they are looking for and why.
Again this video is highly technical but we thought you might find it useful, especially if you purchase an IICL guide. The video was found on YouTube and is about fourteen and a half minutes long.
